Amazing! I have read reviews of your books, I know they are very good; unfortunately I have not personally read any. ( I completed my engineering in ’94) I especially like the fact that you help out beginners. So many people start off with enthusiasm to learn something on their own, but have no resourses which can answer the very simple doubts they sometimes come up with. And books like ‘Email in a nutshell’ and ‘Internet in a nutshell’ are great for the older generation (60 years and above). They have grown up in a time where even transistor radios were a luxury; (when we think about it in that perspective, it really reflects how rapidly technology has advanced). It is this generation that is now lonely and needs to keep in touch with their kids and grandkids who are invariably overseas. They want to reach out but find our gadgets and vocabulary overwhelming. Your books are the perfect ‘friend and guide’ to take them through. I will definitely get them for my dad :o)

To write for beginners in any subject is not easy. It requires empathy and patience, and has to be written keeping in mind the fact that they are completely raw to the subject. Not many authors can take that up.

However fast the softwares get upgraded, there is always someone who is taking his/her first steps; who wants to learn to crawl, walk, and then run instead of plummeting headlong into it (which is, in my opinion, the best way to go about it) On behalf of them all, I thank you.

Paresh: Thanks, I was experimenting to create a collage. It was not intended to be a public post. I had saved it as draft, somehow the status got changed to Published.

Vandana: Thank you for your comments.
