Home, sweet home…

A few months back we moved (my brother, his family and I) to our new home. We have been staying in a rented house. We had planned to construct a house as soon as we had shifted to Cochin in 2000. But due to various reasons it got postponed. Finally we started the construction in January 2004, and shifted in the last week of May. Here are some snaps of my new home.

My bedroom and study are in the ground floor. The study is the room where I spend most of time–more than 12 hours every day. I have included photos of my study and part of my library.

    Congratulations!!!

Your home is lovely. And the libraray looks really awesome. You must have been a prolific buyer and reader of books to fill up those shelves.

Here’s wishing you and your family happy times at your new home.

Hey Dude, I mean Mr. Leon,

Am I honored to post my comments here. I hope you gonna read it. Well, during my years of studying IT I recon reading your books. Heck I dont remember what book it was, but the moment I saw your name, I was like, ‘hey this name is so familiar. I read it during my engineering” Kudos to you man, amazing work. You helped me pass through my engineering. Lol.

And yeh, you just got a new blog reader. I am sooooo happy, I wont be surprised if I come across a blog of Sartaj Sahni- Data Structures or someone of the same likes.

    Keep writing. 😉

    >>James Bright: Thanks
    >>silverine: That is about 60% of my books, bought over the past 25years (from my 10th standard onwards). My bedroom is also similarly lined with bookshelves and the remaining are with my parents at Kottayam. And thanks for your good wishes…
    >>Me: Nice to know that my book helped you in your studies. It must be Fundamentals of Information Technology. Wishing you all the best…

The construction and design of the house is awesome .. Is the library on the top ? I asked so bcos of the triangular shape of the library walls and also the room above the parked car ..

Anita: The study is on the ground floor. It is the other triangular shaped projection on the right side of the car porch–the one inside the lawn. The books are behind me when I sit in front of my computer and the the window faces the lawn and the car porch. It was designed to give me a complete view of the front of the house and the greenery as I can’t go out. The triangular shaped room above the car porch is the guest bedroom.
