The Seven Chakra Tree of Life

My brother placed in my hands a Tree of Life,
its branches strung with seven voices of stone:
Carnelian burning like the ember of courage,
Green Aventurine whispering calm in green syllables,
Lapis Lazuli holding the night’s deep thought,
Amethyst singing in royal purple silence,
Clear Quartz, a transparent prayer for healing,
Yellow Aventurine, a spark of golden laughter,
and Red Jasper, the pulse of endurance and blood.

The pamphlet spoke of chakras and energy,
but I believe the tree’s true power
is how it gathers my scattered feelings
into a single, shimmering canopy—
and in its quiet radiance,
I find myself steadied, soothed, and alive.
