silverine: What you have told about the tags is very true.

Deepa: Read your tag. But you have avoided a lot questions :-). I was talking about the occasions when the inmates (only inmates) of the hostel got drunk. During the MH day and MN Union inauguration, there will be guests. But that is a different sort of fun.

quills: Bharatanatyam, I learned the basic steps and then realized it was not my cup of team. Tom and Jerry is something that I can watch for hours 🙂

Sarah: It is by Lord Alfred Tennyson from the poem Sir Galahad.

Mayacassis: Another T&J fan 🙂 I liked the quote very much, so I made the poster myself in PowerPoint, took a color printout and got it framed. Thank you. I will give you a treat when I become a multimillionaire :-).

I have spiral note books of my jottings. I read them again and again till I memorize them. When I am reading online, I do the same thing, but do a cut & paste to a word document.

Geo: Thank you Geo. When life deals you a bad hand, you just have to play it and make the most of it. That’s life 😉

silverine: I was waiting for your reaction to that. Was wondering how you missed it the first time :-). It is from The Complete Yes Prime Minister.

Alexis, I was very busy all these days, working 12 hrs a day, on call..! When I come back home, I will be completely drained!
I will soon respond the tag which you have given to me.
I am really sorry for the delay, my dear..!

    That ibot chair is amazing!
But the 63 inch hdtv plasma is too big isn’t it?
I love the 32 hdtv plasma.

goddess of beauty and love, I’m very flattered 🙂
Thank you for taking the tag!
As silverine has mentioned, they are very self revealing, and that’s what brings people closer, right?

I also ideally think of taking notes of anything I read, and then what I do is buy the whole book or take the print if it’s online… my laziness 😀

Great poster Alex. You are invincible!

I’ve always wanted to dance, the key word is “want”. But I don’t mind going and looking crazy once in a while.

So you write down notes and memorize them…that’s a cool way to grow and expand yourself. I try to bookmark or keep stuff online, but then get hopelessly lost and give up.

    Great read Alex!

James: Take care James. Tags are not important. Human lives are. Don’t worry about the tag. Take rest when you get time and take up the tag once you are really free.

Yes, ibot is really wonderful. But they are selling it only in US. So no chances of getting it. I chose 63” in my wish list as I can watch it from a distance—about 16 feet from my computer. I usually watch TV and work on the computer at the same time, especially during cricket matches.

Suji : I am glad you agree 😉

venus: Thank you. Yes, you are right about self-revelation and bring people closer. I was talking about taking notes from the books that I own 🙂 Because, when you need something, it is very difficult to find it from the book, but very easy from the notes.

Ram: Thank you Ram. Yes, the sentences I like because they convey a nice idea or they have style, involves clever wordplay, or some other factor that impress me. The advantage of writing down only the sentences is that you can find them easily and all of them in will be in one place.

Voices From Eternity: Welcome VFE. Thank you for the kind words. My best wishes…

Kesi: It is nice to read what one has written say 5 or 10 years back. Isn’t it?

    Hi Alexis…
Maroon Tshirt and saffron mundu – wow!!!

1st time am hearing abt Sir Galahad…i freak out on Ulysses.Same difference, I guess! 😉

    Cheers!

  21. Alexis Leon said,

    April 24, 2006 at 9:37 am

chackochan: I shouldn’t have discontinued. Then at least I could have said that I was the inspiration for a movie 🙂

Paresh: If I had continued with my dance classes, I would not have become like Mohanlal. Think of someone like Vineet 🙂

Mind Curry: How is your hand. Hope things are fine and all is well. Since most of my career I have worked on IBM machines—mainframes, minis and PCs—I am an IBM fan and Lenovo looks great. But will have to become a millionaire to buy it. Currently I am having a Compaq Presario 🙁

Ganja Turtle: I love Tennyson. I have read about you challenging your English teacher that you could teach Ulysses better than her and getting a standing ovation after the class. I would have loved to sit in that class 🙂

  22. Paresh said,

Mohanlal is the best dancer we have. And, above all he resemble you, with a bulky frame, Kavi Mundu & all that.:p

lenovo will be pleased to read this..i think after the chinese took over there has been quite a bit of concern about service and quality. compaq is pretty decent i feel.

Paresh: Yes, I get the picture 😉

Anand: Actually, I would go for the Stratosphere Elite workstation with Dual Intel Xeon processors with two 30” Samsung monitors. I don’t play games. The only computer game I have ever played is Solitaire and I am yet to win one 🙁

    anu: Thanks anu

venus: Thank you. My comments are on your blog.

Mind Curry: Get well soon. I am having second thoughts about Lenovo. Yes Compaq is a really good machine.

Arjun Ramakrishnan: Welcome Arjun and thank you for your kind words.
