The Picture Tag
A really sweet tag by Silverine.
1. Most desired celebrity
Sixela Noel
Comment: She has the screen presence and poise that always fascinated me. The down-to-earth personality, scant respects for conventions, and ability to fool almost everybody are a just a few traits that I admire most. And she is damn sexy and the mustache adds to the sex appeal…
2. Want to do this some day
Winter Mountaineering in Scotland: It might never happen!!!!
Comment: I want to know how it feels climbing the mountain in the snow and cold. My feeling is that it will feel very cold… So there is a good chance that I will end up opening a tattukada selling coffee, tea, omelets, dosas and alcoholic beverages, as I see a great business opportunity. So if you don’t find me here, you know where to look.
3. Want to visit this place
Grand Canyon
Comments: The Grand Canyon is more than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau. Its beauty and size humbles me. Its timelessness provokes a comparison to our short existence. I also like the awe-inspiring view and in its vast spaces I think I may finally find solace from my very hectic life. Also it is wheelchair accessible!
4. Random Favorite
Sherlock Holmes
Comment: I like Holmes for his prowess at using logic and astute observation to solve cases. His intelligence, arrogance and superiority complex (because he is superior) is something that I like most. And I always wanted to play violin, which he does with great panache and flamboyance.
5. I was tagged by Silverine

I tag James, Anu, Paresh, Geo, Chackochen and Dhanush to carry forward this tag. Come on guys, make my day…

AWESOME!!!!!!!
I was rofl when I saw the first picture then amazed and then admiration filled me when I saw the rest!! You were right, this was a suspense..never in my wildest dreams could I guess what you were upto.
Alexis..hats off to the most creative tag I have seen. There is a forthrightnes, boldness, style, panache, hopes, dreams, and a spunkiness woven so well into this tag that I am at a loss for words.
You are very creative that’s obvious but what I liked is the way you actually “pictured” yourself in these places.
Excellante!

Chackochen: Thank you. But the actual photoshop professional my brother. I just gave him the ideas and the pictures. He did the merging in Photoshop.
Silverine: Thank you very much. I am gald that you liked it. Finding the right photos was the difficult part.

Alexis there is a No 5 too which I was unable to do, due to blogger not uploading the image!
I loved Sharon Stones character in Basic Instinct. She is still among my fav female actresses.
Mountaineering in the snow anywhere sounds exciting, though I would prefer trekking through snowy forests.
Grand Canyon is an awe inspiring spectacle. Very humbling and a reminder to our smallness in the Universe.
I think I have read almost all of the Sherlock Holmes series . The Hound of the Baskervilles was my first and I remember being disappointed that it was not an actuall supernatural hound. But later, I was amazed by his logic and astute observations as you termed it so aptly. And the arrogance is attractive. Very British ! 🙂
Paresh said,

Sixela Noel: Can we go out for a date? You’re so attractive. I’m floored.
Alexis: Brilliant. You’re a genius
Alexis Leon said,
July 2, 2006 at 1:26 pm
silverine: Point No. 5 incorporated. Sharon Stone, I too am a fan. In Basic Instinct there was a certain chemistry between she and Michael Douglas. I have read Sherlock Holmes many times. Still read it when I get time. Now there is an annotated edition that is simply superb—a real collector’s item.
Paresh: You will have to ask Sixela Noel. I only gave the letters of my name to her and she comes up with the name. Thank you Paresh and now you can take the tag forward.

Oh My God!
The first picture is sheer sacrilege….. how dare you?! How DARE you? That pair of legs was THE path that first showed my 12 year old self “the way to heaven”…. and now thou hast made mockery of the The Legos? Fire and brimstone! Damnation! Infidel! I will give 51 crores to the one who wrecks Alexis’s computer! 😛
Seriously man, it’s top notch LOL… someone’s going to make it an internet phenomenon.
Loved the other pics and the fundae too…. especially the Holmes one. You might be the first person who did a really original take of this already unique take. You da man!

Paresh: Paresh, take your time.
James: Thank you James. I am looking forward to your tag. I wish you luck. But there is no need to use Photoshop. The tag is to post photos (which you have in abundance), I did manipulate the images just for fun.
Sarah: Thank you Sarah.
Mind Curry: Thank you MC. Yes nice legs and I see that legs have got you in trouble. See the comments by Miss. Scissors below 🙂
Anand: Give me the 51 crores. I will wreck it myself 🙂 Thank you buddy. And thanks for the comments and observations.
LALITHA: Looking forward to your tag. As I have mentioned earlier, there is no need for Photoshop. The original tag was to post photos. See Silverine’s tag at http://my-think-pad.blogspot.com/2006/06/talking-pictures-tag.html to see the original version of the tag.
Geo: Thank you Geo. Glad to know you liked it. I am awaiting your tag.
Miss Scissors: Miss. Scissors, I have nothing to do with this. You will have to take it with MC.
@MC: I wish you all the best and good luck. Wear a helmet and full-body armor when you go home…

I too wish to be in Grand Canyons some day. The texture they provide to the photo frames is awesome.

We are all here to protect you..Alexis has just promoted me to the post of Centurion in the Imperial Army of Bloggers (IAB) which mean no one has the Gaul er..gall to touch my friends.
@Alexis: You missed out WMD’s …it may not do much harm but might just disable Miss Scissors for a while 🙂
And just to let you know I didnt miss out on the “Come on guys make my day” :p
Alexis Leon said,

Jo: Thank you Jo. And my congratulations on your job and the singing assignments.
silverine: I did not miss WMD. I have joined the Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction. So I am against the use of it, even on Miss. Scissors, though she deserves it for what she did to poor MC. I can picture you saying to Miss. Scissors “Go ahead sissy, make my day” 🙂
@MC: Since the Centurion of the IAB has promised to protect you, I think you can venture back home and probably discard the protective gear 😉

Ganja Turtle: Thank you monsieur. You visited the Rhine falls. Trace the marble folds of The Pieta,…. You could have added Imagining from where Holmes and Moriarty fell down at the Rhine falls… to your tour description 🙂
Ah ha… violin, my favorite musical instrument. But could never learn or master it, even though I tried. You can read about by violin experiments at http://www.alexisleon.com/ros/2005/07/22/the-sound-of-music.html.
Pradip Somasundaran: Welcome to my blog. Oh yes, I love music. I am a regular visitor at Jo’s blog and now I think I will be at your blog too. Best wishes Pradip.

Ganja Turtle: There is some problem with the comment template, till I sort it out I think it is better to give the link directly. Now you can go to my violin experiments 🙂
No, I used Snagit. It has the facility to capture the scrolling browser window.
