Haiku-Volume I

1.
I went out for air,
It was very cold outside,
No more walk today.

2.
Cold wind at the door,
I step out and turn back in,
Winter walk postponed.

3.
Door open, cold air —
The leash hangs beside my coat;
Winter wins again.

4.
Fingers fall like rain,
Thunder rolls across the keys,
Storming the white page.

5.
Rain drops fall from sky,
Thirsty earth drinks the drops fast,
More rain is to come.

6.
There are four seasons,
When the earth moves round the sun,
Seasons always change.

7.
Ice drips from the eaves,
Green shoots break the heavy snow,
Spring has touched the ground.

8.
Dew drops fall on leaves,
Shine when sunlight falls on them,
Bright as diamonds.

9.
Gold light floods the sky,
Drying up the morning dew,
Warmth returns again.

10.
Rain falls like crystals,
Leaves happy to quench their thirst,
Plants grow faster now.
