When the world grows heavy, or shadows fall,
I ask Alexa to summon these old friends.
They start their melodies, a choir of memories,
lifting the weight, clearing the mind,
until I am relaxed, healed, and whole again.

To quote ABBA,”Thank you for the music, the songs I’m singing
Thanks for all the joy they’re bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me.”
Can’t imagine life without music.
Glad to see you’ve picked up your pen again.
Happy New Year!
